Synopsis for 1st story

The story begins with a team of police officers standing in front of a bar in New Orleans, while a grouping of unknown characters stand up at the doorway looking in, where Gambit has been killed. They theorize who did it, and one grapheme comments that whoever did the killing thoroughly enjoyed information technology.

Action currently happening on A.I.M. Island is so shown, where Deadpool is displayed fighting A.I.Thou. Agents alongside his teammates of the Avengers Unity Division. Deadpool advances to kill the enemies' leader, K.O.D.O.G., but before he dies M.O.D.O.K. speaks a few code words that trigger programming in Deadpool's encephalon, causing him to see all of his teammates as brilliant, fun-colored enemies. Deadpool proceeds to impale all of his teammates, not realizing who they are.

Later, a group of heroes including Jessica Jones, Hawkeye, Mr. Knight, Cable, Misty Knight, and Punisher are looking over the massacre on A.I.M. Island, and find Deadpool's symbol drawn in blood on the floor.

Deadpool, meanwhile, is still in a trance and is seeing everything as happy and brilliant versions of the world fifty-fifty though in reality he is sitting in a dingy, abased room in Schaefer Theater. He receives a call on the telephone from a mysterious caller who uses the code words again to give Deadpool more instructions, but in Deadpool'due south trance-induced vision he sees it as Nick Fury calling for him with a special heroic assignment.

The scene fast-forwards to Loki, Valkyrie, Hercules, Thor, Hippolyta, and Ganesha all appearing on an isle in the Aegean Ocean after being summoned there past cries of assistance from other gods. There they find a plethora of gods all turned to stone and Deadpool continuing higher up them all, thinking that they are his friends all having a beach party together. Deadpool holds up what he thinks is a volleyball, but is actually Medusa's caput, and turns all of the new arrivals to stone as well.

During this, the group of heroes that were investigating at A.I.M. Island bust into Deadpool's room in Schaffer Theater. There they find detailed files containing weaknesses and strategies for killing all of the deceased heroes they have seen and then far, confirming to them that Deadpool is the killer. They see that he received a phone telephone call from someone earlier leaving, but they likewise detect a message from Deadpool reading "Aid Me" written on a desk pizza cheese.

Finally, an ominous scene reveals the Ruby-red Skull, Abomination, Magneto, and Doctor Doom are the ones behind the scenes controlling Deadpool. The comic ends as they deliberate over which hero to kill side by side.
